Abel's Field

Seth McArdle (Samuel Davis) is a high school senior with a lot on his plate. Not only does he have to deal with the usual social and academic pitfalls of high school, but he also has to deal with his young twin sisters, who are acting as de facto parents in the absence of his deceased mother and unemployed father. When the bank calls with a foreclosure notice, Seth's frustrations explode into a series of altercations with the school football team. An irritated coach sends Seth to work with Abel, the eccentric groundskeeper, after school (Kevin Sorbo). Their relationship begins cold and rocky, but as they spend more time together, they realize they have more in common than either of them realized. The disadvantage is that they primarily share pain and sadness. The good news is that God loves them.
