At War for Love

It's 1943 and World War II is raging in Europe. In Flora, Arturo and ny the girl of a restaurant owner are in love, but she actually is promised in marriage. There is a way around this, but Arturo should get permission from her dad, who resides in a village in Sicily to be able to wed Flora. Arturo doesn't have any money, so the only way he will arrive at Sicily is to enlist at the U.S. Army, that will be preparing for a landing in the island.
