Beasts of No Nation
A play based on the experiences of Agu, a child soldier fighting in the civil war of an unnamed African country. Follows a new boy's journey, Agu, who's made to join several troops at a literary African country. While Agu worries his commander and many of the men around him, his Spartan youth was cruelly shattered by the war raging throughout his country, and he are initially torn between contradictory revulsion and fascination Depicts the mechanics of warfare and does not shy away from explicit, visceral detail, and paints a more complex, difficult picture of Agu as a young child soldier.
