Children of the Sea

Ruka is a young girl with divorced parents; her father works at an aquarium. When two boys, Umi and Sora, who were reared by dugongs in the ocean are brought to the aquarium, Ruka is attracted to them and begins to discover that she has a similar supernatural connection to the ocean as they have. The extraordinary ability of Umi and Sora appears to be related to the increasing frequency of bizarre occurrences, such as the advent of sea creatures far from their native habitat and the disappearance of aquarium animals around the world. However, the precise nature of the boys' power and the anomalous occurrences are unknown, and Ruka is compelled to investigate the mystery surrounding her new acquaintances.
