Coyote Lake

Coyote Lake is a reservoir on the Rio Grande along with a dangerous drug smuggling route that has become synonymous with mysterious disappearances and cartel violence. It is there where they routinely rob drug and drown the un-suspecting drug-runners and traffickers who stay through the evening that Teresa and her seventeen-year-old daughter, Ester, conduct a boardinghouse time. Teresa justifies the killings for her daughter, asserting that they have been ridding the planet of people and rescue that the stolen money to leave Coyote Lake and start afresh. Nevertheless, once they're taken hostage themselves from two cartel gangsters, their routine is disrupted.
