Dashing Home for Christmas

Emily Nichols, a successful business consultant, has missed every family event this year, which is why she is determined to get home for Christmas. However, when a sequence of disasters–from delayed public transportation to diverted flights, broken-down trains, and finally, a misplaced wallet–jeopardizes her vacation plans, she is compelled to team up with a fellow road warrior, Simon Allein, to find a way home. While Emily is a Type A planner who despises disruptions and inconvenient situations, Simon is a go-with-the-flow type who sees the silver lining in any catastrophe. Thus, while relying on one another to reach their destination strains their resolve, it also provides ample chance for them to get to know one another and, possibly, fall in love.
