He can see ghosts thanks to a homemade drug: his father's neurological medicine mixed with marijuana. On the trail of a serial killer, Officer Jayson Tagg ends up being killed. So when Marbles' mother wants to sell the family farm, and the only way to buy the house from her is to take the money Tagg is giving Marbles in exchange for his help. Marbles agrees to this. The stoner medium and the ghost cop are an unlikely pair, but they try to work things out as they deal with ghouls, perverts, a mysterious hooded figure, and an unexpected chance at love. The only way Marbles and Tagg will be able to solve the case with their souls intact is if they face their deepest regrets and break through their prejudices.
