Fittest on Earth: Next Gen

From Rich Froning and Annie Thorisdottir to Mat Fraser and Tia-Clair Toomey, each new generation of champions can see further because they stand on the shoulders of giants. When Fraser said he would stop competing after the 2020 season, he gave new competitors a chance to beat him. In 2021, the 15th year of the Games, there will be 15 events for both new and experienced competitors to test their limits and see if they deserve to be called the fittest. Even though there were surprises, upsets, and unbelievable displays of unbeatable athleticism, Toomey kept going like a clock in a storm, breaking records and securing her place as the most unbeatable athlete in the history of the CrossFit Games. At the 2021 Games, we saw the return of some of the best athletes ever, as well as the rise of newcomers who will be the Fittest on Earth for the next generation.
