Flowers

"Flowers" is about the lives of six women whose lives span three generations. The book is called "Flowers" (from the Show period all the way through to the present day). As far back as the 1930s, Rin (Yu Aoi) is worried about the marriage that her parents set up for her. As time goes on and Rin has three daughters: Kaoru, Midori, and Sato. Kaoru tragically loses her husband in a car accident, while Midori is an accomplished career woman who gets nervous when she gets married (Yukie Nakama). During the 1960s, Sato has Kanna and Kei, two of her children (Ryoko Hirosue). Kanna is now worried about becoming a single mother in the present time. The lives of these women are shown in a way that is both beautiful and graceful.
