18th century. Cartographer Jonathan Green Makes an voyage from Europe to the East. Having passed Transylvania and crossed the Carpathian Mountainsthat he discovers himself in a little village lost from forests that are impassible. He could not be brought by anything but chance and heavy fog . People who live here do not resemble any other people that the traveler saw before that. Even the villagers, having dug a deep moat to fend themselves out of the remainder of earth, talk about a naive belief that they could rescue themselves out of bad, failing to understand that evil has left its nest in their spirits and is waiting for the opportunity to gush from the universe.
