Freshman Orientation

A typical Midwestern 18-year-old freshman at a large state institution, ready to immerse himself in college life, realizes that education is not the beer-fueled, sexual ideal of his mind. Desperate to gain the girl of his dreams (a stunning but reticent sorority girl), he chooses to establish a gay identity in order to infiltrate her life. This simple deed, however, swiftly ensnares him in a web of campus activism, gender warfare, fraternity hazes, sorority torture, "coming out" narratives, political martyrs, and, finally, a university-wide collapse.
