Frieda - Coming Home

Mark and Olivia, a young American couple, are pregnant with their first child. Prior to that, they'd like to fulfill a life-long goal of visiting Europe. They rent private rooms online and begin their four-week journey. Elisabeth picks them up at the airport upon their arrival in Germany. She is the daughter of the landlord who rented Mark and Olivia's first home, a tiny house on the shores of a gorgeous lake in Olivia's great-grandparents' village. They discover that the 82-year-old landlady is dying in the hospital. Elisabeth transports Olivia and Mark to the residence. The pair then spent their first night in Germany. A night during which Mark develops a particular relationship with the proprietor. The following morning, the house near the lake seems eerily silent. And no one will recall what occurred just a few hours ago with such rapidity.
