Guns for San Sebastian

An outlaw named Leon Alastray is guided to the town of San Sebastian by Father John, who has offered him asylum. Alastray then accompanies Father John. The community is now desolate since its timid occupants have taken refuge in the surrounding hills to avoid being attacked by Indians, who regularly do so and take all of the villagers' goods. As a result of Father John's assassination, the villagers incorrectly believe the killer to be the priest. Alastray initially tries to convince them that he is not a priest, but they do not trust him, and a seemingly miraculous event seems to confirm that they were right all along. In the end, he is the one who helps them regain their confidence and defend themselves against their attackers.
