Isoroku Yamamoto, the Commander-in-Chief of the Combined Fleet

Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto (1884-1943) was the Japanese Naval commander who was awarded the order to attack Pearl Harbour, an arrangement he was duty bound to comply with which went contrary to their personal faith. While this infamous attack is a minimal point in Japanese and US history it mightn't have happened if the Japanese government had paid attention to Yamamoto at 1939 and searched for a far more peaceful approach to end their warfare campaign, proving his many ominous presages of positive results of this attack ahead true.
