Jeannette: The Childhood of Joan of Arc
1425, France The little Jeannette, who is just eight years old, tends to her sheep in the sleepy village of Domremy during the Hundred Years' War. She once confides in her friend Hauviette that she finds it unbearable to witness the pain brought on by the English. The little girl, Jeannette, resists the nun Madame Gervaise's attempts to reason with her and declares her readiness to use force to free the Kingdom of France and save souls. She would eventually become Joan of Arc thanks to her faith.
