Land of Mine
At the days following the surrender of Germany in May 1945, a team of young German prisoners of war were paid to the Danish authorities and subsequently sent out to the West Coast, where they were arranged to take away the more than two thousand plantations that the Germans had put in the sand along the shore. With their hands, glancing around in the sand, the boys were made to carry out the dangerous job under the leadership of the Danish sergeant, Carl Leopold Rasmussen.
