Mademoiselle Paradis

Vienna, eighteenth century As a kid, Maria Theresia von Paradis, a skilled pianist and close friend of Mozart's, lost her sight. Desperate to heal their gifted daughter, the Paradis send Maria to Dr. Mesmer, a progressive physician who provides her with the necessary care and attention. Maria gradually regains her sight with the doctor's unique magnetic procedures. However, this miracle comes at a cost, as the woman gradually loses her musical ability.
