Meteor

After having a collision with a comet, a not quite 8km wide part of this asteroid"Orpheus" is heading towards Earth. It will lead to a catastrophe which will probably extinguish mankind if it is going to hit. To block the meteor NASA wants to use the prohibited atomic weapon satellite"Hercules" but discovers so on that it doesn't have enough fire power. Their only opportunity is to combine forces with the USSR who've launched this kind of illegal satellite. But will governments agree?
