My Dad's Christmas Date

It's Christmas, and the picturesque city of York, where Jules,16, and her father, David, live, is decked up in festive garb. David and Jules' relationship is similar to that of most fathers and their sixteen-year-old children in many aspects. He is unable to communicate with her because she is unable to understand him. He desires involvement in her life; she desires her own space. However, David and Jules share a profound kinship in one significant way: Jules' mother, who was David's wife, died two years ago in a car accident. Jules, motivated by good memories of her mother, decides to take matters into her own hands as they both struggle to cope with everyday life in the aftermath of their loss.
