On the Waterfront

Terry Malloy dreams of being a prize fighter, even while tending his pigeons and running errands at the docks for Johnny Friendly, this dockers union's boss. Terry witnesses a murder from 2 of Johnny's thugs, and after meets the sister of the deceased man and feels responsible. She introduces him Father Barry, who tries to induce him to give information for the courts who will smash the dock racketeers.
