Justice. Drive carefully. Payback. When a renegade military reject (Judd Nelson) places new superweapons in dangerous hands, metallurgist John Henry Irons (O'Neal) vows to take them all. Irons transforms into Steel with the assistance of an electronics genius (Annabeth Gish) and an inventive scrap metal worker (Richard Roundtree). He's ready to fight, wearing body armor, wielding a fearsome electrohammer, and riding a gadget-laden motorcycle...if he can fix the untimely glitches in his untested gear.
