Story of a Love Affair

Paola (Lucia Bose) is the younger wife of a shady manufacturing owner, Enrico Fontana. She is lovely and closely guarded (Massimo Girotti). He employs a private detective to examine her romantic history, which ironically leads Paola back into contact with previous boyfriend Guido, with whom she resurrects a long-forgotten passion. Dogged by their respective mates' suspicions, they become closer in the face of adversity and begin plotting Enrico's demise. However, after the obstacle of being together is overcome, would the passion begin to wane? A work of art brimming with intensity and deftly crafted emotion.
