The Bravados
The CinemaScope picture was founded on a novel of the exact same name compiled by Frank O'Rourke. Jim Douglas (Gregory Peck) is just a rancher who has been pursuing the 4 outlaws who murdered his wife for six months. He rides into town of Rio Arriba, at which four men, Alfonso Parral (Lee Van Cleef),'' Bill Zachary (Stephen Boyd), Ed Taylor (Albert Salmi) and also Lujan (Henry Silva), matching the description are in jail awaiting execution, so he can see the hanging. Town has issued directions to only allow the hangman (Joe DeRita) to enter, so Jim is taken to Sheriff Eloy Sanchez's (Herbert Rudley) office to state his own company. Town never had an execution before, so they've brought in a person from outside town to complete the task. Jim is allowed by the intruder into the jail to see the men. He has got the face of a hunter, although they assert that they had never seen him earlier.
