The Dark Half

Thad Beaumont is the author of a highly successful series of barbarous pulp thrillers written under the pseudonym of'George Stark', but if he decides to'kill-off' his or her alter ego at a mock ceremony, then it precipitates a series of sadistic murders matching individuals in his pulp books, which are soon regarded as the work of Stark himself. Seeking a version of the counterpart, Stark isn't therefore willing to quit the writing match -- even when it means arriving after his baby and Thad's wife.
