The Lady Gambles

When Joan Boothe travels to Las Vegas with her husband, reporter David, she begins gambling to pass the time while he is working on a story. She becomes addicted to gambling as a result of the casino manager's encouragement, to the point where she "borrows" David's spending money to fund her addiction. This finally brings their marriage to an end, but David persists in attempting to assist her.
