The Phantom of Liberty
The title of this Spanish film, which is based on the Communist Manifesto, refers to short stories about the life of the director Luis Buuel. They are all based on his life. When they happen by chance, these stories all have a different person at the center of them. They go from the 19th century to the 1970s. Shortly, the film touches on things like execution, pedophilia, incest, and sex. It also has a wide range of characters, like a sick father and incompetent police officers.
