The Work and the Glory

It turns out that Benjamin and Mary Ann Steed move their whole family to a town in upstate New York in the early 1800s. They didn't know that the town was split up by religion. It turns out that their new hired help is behind a lot of the trouble. Each Steed family member must come to terms with their own beliefs in the face of strong pressure. Together, they try to fight off the raging controversy over a young man named Joseph Smith.
