Consider a rustic retreat devoid of cell service, Internet, and social media as a romantic method to mend your marriage and sexual life. Consider again. We'd like to introduce you to Dan and Jeanine Dewerson. Their bedroom's lone source of light is a wall plug. Their daughter's most trusted companion is her iPad. Dan has had enough and has planned a peaceful, restful weekend in a distant mountain village. There are no children, no phones, and no social media, just pure, fresh air and plenty of romance. However, what begins as a lovely weekend gradually devolves into a nightmare due to strange encounters, potent edibles, irritable neighbors, and a nagging one-eyed dog. Without GPS to direct them or social media to occupy their time, Dan and Jeanine are compelled to reconnect. Can they truly salvage their marriage and sanity with a "digital detox"?
