Angry Boys
Angry Boys is a Australian tv mockumentary series written by and starring Chris Lilley. Continuing the mockumentary style of his old show, the series explores the difficulties faced by young men in the 21st century -- their own influences, their pressures, their dreams and aspirations. In Angry Boys, Lilley plays multiple characters: S.mouse, an American rapper. A Japanese mum that is devout, jen. Blake Oakfield. Ruth"Gran" Sims, a protector at a juvenile detention centre. Along with her grandchildren, Nathan Sims and South Australian twins Daniel.
The show is really a Coproduction between US cable channel HBO and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation , with a Pre Sale at the Great Britain to BBC Three. Filmed at Melbourne, Los Angeles and Tokyo, Angry Boys premièred on 11 May 2011.
