Blind Date
Blind Date has been a dating game show produced by London Weekend Television. An unscreened pilot was made with comedian Duncan Norvelle but it was eventually hosted by Cilla Black, who already hosted the LWT series, Surprise, Surprise. Blind Date ran to 31.
Blind Date will return for a special in 2013, to observe Black's 50-year livelihood within the entertainment industry. This will probably be part of another programme, The One and Only Cilla Black, directed by Paul O'Grady. Blind Date manufacturers are planning to attract back a number of this show's most memorable contestants who remain single, giving them another opportunity.
