Captain Planet and the Planeteers

Captain Planet and the Planeteers is an American animated environmentalist Tv program created by Ted Turner, Robert Larkin III, and Barbara Pyle, Made by Pyle, Nicholas Boxer, Andy Heyward and Robby London, and developed by Pyle, Boxer, Heyward, London, Thom Beers, Bob Forward, Phil Harnage and Cassandra Schafhausen. The show was made by Turner Program Services and DIC Entertainment plus it was broadcast on TBS from September 1-5, 1990. Hanna Barbera and Turner Program Services , produced A sequel show, The New Adventures of Captain Planet, also has been broadcast from September 1 1, 1993 to May 11, 1996. Both show remain today in syndication. The app is a form of edutainment and recommends environmentalism. In February 2009, mother-nature Network unreleased footage of Captain Planet and the Planeteers on its site and began broadcasting events. The Planeteer Movement was started being a way for fans of the series with the support of both Pyle to connect and carry on to incorporate the messages of the show into their own lives as real-life Planeteers.
