Earth 2

Earth 2 is an American science fiction television series which aired on NBC from November 6, 1994 on June 4, 1995. The show had been canceled after one season of 22 episodes. It follows the travel and settlement of a small expeditionary group called the Eden Project, with the intent to travel to an Earth-like planet termed G889 in an effort to locate a cure to a disorder known as"the congestion". The show was created by Michael Duggan, Carol Flint, Mark Levin, and Billy Ray, created by Amblin Entertainment and Universal Television, and filmed primarily across the Santa Fe area in New Mexico. The series' music was written by David Bergeaud, and also the producers were Mark Levin, Michael Duggan, and Carol Flint. Initially, the crowd of the show was large, reaching eighth location. However, by April 23 of the following calendar year, Nielsen evaluations share had fallen from 23 percent to 9%. During its conduct, it was nominated for several awards, Saturn, along with a Primetime Emmy. In 2005, the whole series was released on DVD at a set.
