Family Law

Family Law can be actually really a television play starring Kathleen Quinlan as veteran lawyer Lynn Holt, who attempted after her spouse abandoned her and their law practice, taking most their customers together with him to start her own lawyer. The series aired on CBS from 1999 to 2002 and was created by Paul Haggis. The show also starred Christopher McDonald as opportunistic, ambulance-chasing attorney Rex Weller, Julie Warner as Lynn's friend Danni, along with Dixie Carter as"pit bull" divorce attorney Randi King. Later cast additions comprised Salli Richardson, Cristián de la Fuente, Tony Danza and individual actor Meredith Eaton as Emily Resnick, an attorney expecting to make partner. Edwin Starr's 1970 hit song,"War" was used while the series' opening title theme.
