Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is an animated TV show that ran for six seasons and 79 episodes from August 2004 to May 2009. The starting point is a simple question: What happens to the kids' imaginary friends when they grow up in a world where they are real, living things? Are they dead or do they still live? Craig McCracken says they go to Foster's, so of course they do! Foster's is a place where imaginary friends whose kids have outgrown them can live together until they are taken in by a child who still needs them. The show is about Mac, an 8-year-old boy who is shy and creative. His mother kicks out his imaginary friend Bloo and makes him move in with the Fosters. Mac doesn't want Bloo to be adopted by another kid, so it's agreed that Bloo won't be put up for adoption as long as Mac comes to see him every day. Bloo's self-centered and mischievous personality is the exact opposite of Mac's, and the two of them together cause all kinds of chaos in the house.
