Michael Palin: Into Iraq
Michael Palin goes on an epic, eye-opening journey through Iraq, one of the most dangerous and complicated countries in the world. Michael wants to find out what life is like for the 40 million people who live in Iraq by following the Tigris river from where it starts in eastern Turkey to where it empties into the Persian Gulf, a distance of over 1,000 miles. He hasn't been there yet, but he's been interested in it since he was a child. Iraq is sometimes called the "cradle of civilization," and Michael wants to learn more about its troubled past as well as its troubled present.
