One Big Happy

Best-friends Lizzy (gay and a bit typea ) and Luke (straight and more relaxed ) are like family. When these were children and their parents both were getting divorces , they stuck together, and they've been there for one another from the time. All grew up and still single, they've made a decision to begin a family in their own. No, not just like that (there are a few lines they won't cross) - we're talking the non-romantic, go-to-the-doctor's-office-type of baby-making. One night, after yet another failed effort at conception, both go to a bar to let off some steam. That is where Luke meets a free-spirited British girl who is slated to return to England at a matter of days, Prudence. Lizzy isn't a massive fan - it'd have something to do with Prudence waltzing across their flat naked - however Luke hits it off with her... and next thing he knows, they're spending every last minute of her small time together. But as Lizzy discovers that she is actually pregnant, Luke announces that he and Prudence got married. Tada! A different kind of family exists.
