Samurai 7

Based on Akira Kurosawa's celebrated 1954 film Seven Samurai, Gonzo's Samurai 7 debuted in 2004 as an anime television series on the Fox Network. For the show's soundtrack, Toshifumi Takizawa and Kaoru Wada worked together, as did Eitetsu Hayashi. Approximately 32,500,000 is spent on each episode. It premiered in Japan on the anime satellite television network Animax as an exclusive high definition CS-PPV broadcast and was later carried by the network throughout its other networks globally, including Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America and other territories. The dubbing rights for the North American release were purchased by Funimation. IFC and Dish Network's Animania HD channels previously showed it in the United States in high definition. Additionally, it has been aired in Canada by Razer and Hong Kong by TVB Jade. The anime premiered on Funimation on September 6th, 2010. August19, 2012 marked the debut of the series on Adult Swim's relaunched Toonami block and the date of its final episode, which aired on February10, 2013.
