Survivorman

Survivorman is an television program, broadcast in Canada and internationally on Discovery Channel and Also Science Channel. The show aired 4 specials and three seasons -- 2004. The title means the sponsor of this show, Canadian film maker and survival expert Les Stroud, who used survival expertise and wisdom to survive for up to ten days videotaping his experiences from remote locales where he delivered with him no or little food, water, or equipment. Based on the internet site of the show, each location pre-planned and was scouted broadly by Stroud and his team who consulted with natives and survival specialists of each field. The fact Stroud spent time alone without a production team is a significant focus of this show.
