The Carmichael Show

From the humor of Jerrod Carmichael and Nick Stoller ("Neighbors") comes with an irreverent sitcom inspired by Jerrod's connections with his say-anything, contrarian dad, his therapist-in-training girl friend, his ever-hustling brother along with his mother who is always, always, always right with Jesus. Taking the next step and moving together, Jerrod along with his girl friend, Maxine (Amber West), would be the average young couple trying to help it at the city. They're trying to build a fulfilling life together, motivated and smart. The only thing standing in their way would be family. Between Jerrod's larger-than-life brother, Bobby (Lil Rel Howery), along with his smothering and ardent parents (David Alan Grier, Loretta Devine), Jerrod and Maxine are placed to the evaluation broadcasting the bounds of romance, sanity and family.
