The Day Today
Your day Now is a British parody of television current affairs programmes, broadcast in 1994, and created by the comedians Chris Morris and Armando Iannucci. It's a version of the radio programme On the Hour, which was aired on BBC Radio 4 between 1992 and 1991. On-the-hour was written by Morris, Iannucci, Steven Wells, Richard Herring, Stewart Lee, Andrew Glover, David Quantick, and the throw. For The Day Now, the writing group was joined by Peter Baynham, and Herring and Lee were substituted by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews. The cast of On the Hour was kept for The Day Today.
Your day Now is made up of also a variety of briefer slots recorded as pro motion trailers to its segments that were longer and six episodes. The six half hour episodes were broadcast from 19 to 23 February 1994 on BBC2. Now has won many awards, including Morris. These two episodes are available on BBC DVD, having been issued to VHS.
