The Dick Van Dyke Show
The Dick Van Dyke Show is an American television sitcom that aired on CBS in October 3, 1961, until June 1, 1966. The show starred Mary Tyler Moore, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam and Dick Van Dyke and was created by Carl Reiner. It based around tv comedy writer Rob Petrie's work and home life. Reiner produced the show with Bill Persky and Sam Denoff. Earle Hagen wrote the music to the theme song of that show.
15 Emmy Awards were won by the show. In 1997, the episodes"Coasttocoast Big Mouth" and"It Could Look Like a Walnut" were rated in 8 and 15 respectively TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes Ever. In 2002, it had been ranked at 13 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.
