The Kids in the Hall

The Kids in the Hall Would Be a sketch comedy Band Made in 1984, consisting of Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, comedians Dave Foley, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson. Their eponymous television series conducted from 1988 to 1994 from the United States on 1989 to 1995 on CBS and HBO, and CBC from Canada. The theme tune for the series was that the instrumental"Having an Average Weekend" by the Canadian ring Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet. The troupe made one movie, Brain Candy, which was released in 1996. The troupe re formed for humor festivals and various tours in 2000. They introduced an eight-part miniseries, Death Comes to Town 2010, in January. The name of the group originated in Sid Caesar, who, if a joke didn't go overplayed worse than anticipated, would attribute it to"the kids in the hall", referring to an organization of young writers hanging round the studio.
