2001: A Space Travesty
Leslie Nielsen yet again plays a bumbling detective in the vein of the'Naked Gun' movies, but this time as Marshall Richard'Dick' Dix. When strange reports are received through official channels stating that the President of this United States will be held captive on a secret global moon base named Vegan and he was replaced on Earth with a clone, the US Marshall Service instantly sends their'best' man, Dix, on the assignment. Dix ultimately eventually ends up arriving to Earth at which he removes the one and matches both the clone-president and travels to Vegan to rescue the president , but is quickly duped. The bumbling Dix must discover a means restore in himself a belief in truth, justice and the American way, and to restore the president before the Earth is taken over by aliens.
