Break Up
Her husband, Frank, is a jerk, but she's accumulating a nest egg so she can leave. One of his beatings a year ago left her deaf. He pushes her down the stairway one night, and she ends up in the hospital as a result of the incident. To avoid being interviewed by the cops, she flees to her sister's house, where her savings pass-book is lost and she discovers that someone has drained the bank account of her husband's money. After evading police for a while, she believes that Frank may still be alive. To get her money back, face Frank, comply with the police, and finally find freedom may be too much for her.
