Burlesque
The Burlesque Lounge has behind it. Tess, a warrior and owner of this place, struggles to keep the aging theater living, confronting a myriad of aesthetic and financial challenges. The great fortune has seemingly left the club with the troupe members of the Lounge becoming distracted by personal problems and a threat originating from a wealthy business man's quest to buy the area from Tess. Meanwhile, the life of Ali, a girl from Iowa, is about to improve dramatically. Hired by Tess at the Lounge Being a waitress, Ali escapes a past that is hollow and falls in love with the artwork of burlesque. Backed by friends amongst the team of the theater, she manages to meet her dreams of being onstage herself. Things take a dramatic twist though when Ali voice leaves her behave as this venue's major attraction.
