Margaret spends her nights in the glittering maze of Tokyo and her days teaching English at a flight attendant school in Japan. Margaret doesn't know what she wants to do with her life, so she hangs out with other expats in a dive bar in Japan. She drinks to remember to forget and loses herself in love hotel encounters with men who satisfy a temporary craving. When Margaret meets Kazu, a handsome Yakuza, she falls in love with him, even though they can't be together because of danger and tradition.
