The Bike Thief
To the Cyclist his moped is whatever. As a pizza delivery chauffeur it is his income. As a breadline straddling, immigrant father it is his family members's anchor. It takes his partner to function. It obtains his daughter to institution. So when one evening the moped is taken, his world breaks down. He needs to get back his bike-- or replace it-- in whatever way feasible, before his next shifts starts. If he falls short, he will not simply lose his task, he will lose it all. He tries to ask the few acquainted faces for help in this unfamiliar, disorienting city. Nevertheless, as he lacks time as well as his options are wearing thin, his ethical compass starts to fracture and also he grows increasingly more ready to forgo his principles in order to save himself and his household.
