The Grounds
Calvin, an alcoholic wastrel, is forced to discover a brand-new task after he is discharged from his grounds-keeping job at a golf course. After scaring away various other possible applicants, he is hired to often tend the premises of an attractive hill mansion by Julie, the personal assistant to the owner of the home. Jack, sad and self-destructive, has rejected to leave his property considering that his better half left him for a past love a year prior. On the evening Jack chooses to finish all of it, an intoxicated Calvin unintentionally disturbs his boss' suicide attempt. Calvin persuades Jack that it's ineffective to eliminate himself when he has the methods to continue living his reclusive way of life forever. The two bond over their shared inclination to numb and busy their minds rather than face the pains of their past.
