The Human Duplicators
In this low-budget science fiction picture, an extraterrestrial is sent from a distant galaxy to conquer Earth by "duplicating" humans and producing a race of zombies who resemble animated crockery. Enjoy the opening and ending scenes of the alien spacecraft resembling a Christmas tree ornament dancing in space, the faces of the "duplicated" humans cracking like a cheap vase when tossed to the floor, and the "duplicates" being cooked up in individual coffins in the laboratory. The persisting goodness of a lovely blind woman softens the alien's heart, profoundly contradicting his motivations as the film plods toward its "climactic" confrontation between the humans and their counterfeit copies.
