Two Evil Eyes
Two terror segments based on Edgar Allan Poe stories placed close to the city of Pittsburgh. "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar" concerns a cheating wife who is attempting to con her husband outside of millions by having her doctor/hypnotist lover hypnotize the geezer into registering his dough over to her. The old man dies while under hypnosis and can be stuck in the limbo between the here and the hereafter. The entranceway into the real universe is opened and the attempt to enter it. "Black Cat" is the narrative of Rodd Usher, an alcoholic photographer/artist, who descends into madness after he destroys a stray cat his stay-at-home girl friend Annabelle brings home. 1 murder leads into the other, and the intricate cover-ups begin.
